Software Architect

Our client requires support to design a set of middleware tools to enable the key secure software suite to pass data to and from 3rd party products.

In particular access control system software (eg Lenel OnGuard or HoneywellEBI), HR systems and potentially enterprise wide calendar systems (Outlook, Lotus)

Software integration role skill set and experience required:

• Middleware technologies & EAI approaches, specifically for Data Integration.

• Windows.Net (ADO.NETand .Net Remoting)

• C#, .NET3.5 (VS 2005)

• SQL Server development - database design, query development and tuning, and stored procedure development for an QL TP application.

• SQL, MSSQL 2005/2008 configuration and use

• Web based database access tools and languages such as PHP and ASP .NET

• XML

• System Documentation as required including database documentation using UML (Unified Modelling Languages) or ERM (Entity-relationship Model)

• Configuration and use of one or more - MySQL, SQLite, PostGreSQL, Oracle databases.

Other important criteria are:

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Experience in the development of API's

• Experience in documenting the project outcome to enable software developers (both in-house and contract) to implement the agreed architecture.
